Well, turns out that there is no way to do the sort of thing I was hoping for in Blogger without making it look like shit.
Continuing to look for alternatives. In the mean time, just use the character profiles--which by no means sufficient for that purpose, but at least they're unlimited.

It's okay. I can understand and respect TribalPages's decision, but it does leave me in a tight spot :S
